Pubs invited to enter street food competition
The Street Food Championships are returning for another year
Pub and bar chefs are being invited to enter the 2024 Street Food Championships, as the cook-off competition returns for another year.
The event invites the very best chefs from across the street food, fast-casual and other hospitality sectors to submit their signature recipes in a chance to win the Street Food Dish of the Year crown. Entries are now open.
The Championships, sponsored by Major and Conglom, will provide a one-day extravaganza for the 16 finalists to bowl over an expert judging panel via a live cooking showdown in London.
Competitors will cook off in three challenges. The Signature round will allow them the opportunity to showcase their recipe submission that got them into the competition to start with. The Technical round will see them create a dish featuring a selection of sponsored ingredients, and the final round will be a Wings Challenge sponsored by Givaudan (Major).
Entries close Friday 13 September, with the final taking place on Tuesday 26 November.
