A new crazy golf concept, which markets itself on its pop musical soundtrack, will open in Boxpark Wembley next month, as experiential venues continue to arrive in the capital.
Launching on 17 May, Pop Golf has been created by Allan Saud, founder of Mighty Adventures, and is set to offer a 'unique social experience' for crazy golfers and 21st-century pop music fans.
The venue will feature a course of nine pop-themed holes adorned with retro 80s boomboxes and suspended cassette tapes. Each hole has been designed to offer the experience of stepping into a music video.
Pop Golf will offer independent and ethical drinks and snacks brands, alongside a food menu.
“Our mission with Pop Golf was to create a rich experience that tells a story," says Saud. "This is not just another standard crazy golf course, this is a celebration of music. From the design to the innovative and sustainable drinks menu, to the team behind it and the brands we’re partnering with, pop music has led the way. We want our guests to rock up to Pop Golf, have an awesome time and leave feeling that music has the power to change the world.”
