Wetherspoon puts six pubs on the market
The pubs are a mix of three freeholds and three leasehold units.
Pub operator JD Wetherspoon is set to sell six of its pubs.
The properties, which are being sold through Savills and CBRE, comprise a mix of three freeholds/virtual freeholds and three leasehold units.
In its half-year results, issued in January 2025, Wetherspoon said plans to open a total of nine pubs in the year, including sites at London Bridge station, Fulham Broadway underground station, Manchester Airport, Beaconsfield, Wetherby and Bath.
In addition, a further four franchised pubs will open at Haven Holiday Parks, bringing the total number of franchises to seven.
The properties being sold are in Barnstaple, Derby, Hackney, Peckham, Preston and Sunderland and are being considered for sale either individually, in small packages or as a portfolio.
