Robinsons adds 25th managed site to portfolio

Robinsons Brewery has announced the acquisition of The Woodman Inn near Huddersfield, which will join the Stockport brewer's managed estate.

The Woodman, which is Robinsons' fourth site in Yorkshire, brings the total number of managed pubs in its portfolio to 25.

The pub is described as 'a stunning 18th century country inn offering superb food, excellent function facilities and beautiful accommodation'. 

It has been lovingly restored by the Leslie family over 10 years into a 21st century modern pub, hotel and wedding venue, which prides itself on serving fresh local produce.  As well as a substantial wedding and function business, the pub boasts 19 bedrooms rooms, including suites and three renovated cottages.

“We are proud to have acquired this much-loved landmark pub to add to our managed estate," says William and Oliver Robinson, joint managing directors of Robinsons Brewery. "As we stated in January, we have a strong ambition to grow our managed estate through acquisition, transfers and investment. The Woodman is an example of this and a great addition to our family business.”
