Sixes prepares for Manchester opening

Sixes is set to open its first site in Manchester at the end of the month.

Sixes, the immersive cricket and hospitality concept, is set to open its first site in Manchester at the end of the month.

Joining its two London sites in Fulham and Fitzrovia, Manchester marks the first step on the brand's ambitious expansion plans, as it looks to open 30 sites over the next five years.

Founded by Calum Mackinnon and Andy Waugh (pictured above), the duo behind London’s Mac & Wild restaurant, Sixes will bring its unique combination of social cricket and Great British barbecue to Manchester's Corn Exchange on Cathedral Street.

“This is an incredibly exciting phase in the growth of the Sixes community,” says Mackinnon. “The opening of a clubhouse in Manchester – a vibrant city famous for its love of sport – is the perfect next step, and we can’t wait for the people of Manchester to experience Sixes, explore our delicious menu, cocktails and Champagne bar."

“Social Cricket is coming to Manchester this August. We’re beyond excited to get the doors open and start welcoming groups of friends, families and colleagues to the Sixes experience.”

The Manchester site opens its doors to the public on 29 August. You can read Pub & Bar's recent interview with the Sixes team here.
