Arc Inspirations, the multi-brand bar operator, is set to expand its portfolio of venues with two new openings.

Manahatta, the New York-inspired bar brand, will open on Temple Street in Birmingham in September, representing the first Arc Inspirations venue in the Midlands.

BOX, the sports bar and kitchen operation, will follow, opening in Deansgate, Manchester, in October. The 8,000 sq ft venue is spread over two floors, and will feature two 21 ft maple wood European Shuffleboard tables.

“Despite a challenging time, we’re determined to push forward and grow our successful portfolio of brands by introducing them to new cities and locations," says Arc Inspirations CEO Martin Wolstencroft. "We’re thrilled to be coming to a new city and are confident the Manahatta brand will be a popular addition to the Birmingham bar scene. The new bar will create 75 new jobs in the local area and we’re delighted to be expanding our fantastic team.

“BOX is currently well established in Leeds and the surrounding area, and Manchester has been a key target for some time now. We feel this is the right time to bring the brand to the city and the opening also fits perfectly with our cluster strategy of operating complementary brands in close vicinity to each other.”

The group currently operates 17 premium bars across the north of England, under the brands of Banyan Bar & Kitchen, BOX and Manahatta.
