Benjamin's to launch in Harvey Nichols

The Pepper Collective is set to launch Benjamin’s next week, a new bar based in Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge, London.

Opening on Monday 2 August, the new venue will boast over 100 whiskies by the dram or bottle, including a very rare Glengoyne 50 Year Old and Tamdhu 50 Year Old, with a cocktail list prepared by bartender Rik Patel. 

Previously of Mayfair’s Magpie, Adam Handling and Cornerstone, Patel has apparently used 'innovative modern mixology' techniques to create a fresh take on classic cocktails, with the use of delicate house-made botanical cordials and floral notes.

The 24-cover bar is tucked away in the menswear department of Harvey Nichols.

“The Pepper Collective was designed to create and curate spaces which gives our guests a perfectly pitched experience," says Paul Fleming, managing director of The Pepper Collective. "This fledgling partnership with Harvey Nichols is so exciting – we think the new space’s namesake, Mr Harvey, would have approved.” 

As well as the cocktails, Benjamin’s will have a rotating wine list, craft beers and vintage Champagnes.
