Electric Shuffle opens in Manchester

Red Engine has opened the doors to its latest Electric Shuffle venue.

Red Engine has opened the doors to its latest Electric Shuffle venue, launching in Manchester’s Deansgate.

Electric Shuffle Manchester is the second bar from Red Engine to hit the city, following the opening of National Pub & Bar Award-winner Flight Club back in 2018.

The concept offers a high-tech and immersive version of shuffleboard. At the new venue, an art-deco-inspired bar sits in the centre, surrounded by semi-private shuffleboard areas. A food menu offers small plates and sourdough pizzas.

"After months of working tirelessly to bring this new venue to life, we are so excited to finally be opening our doors," says CEO Steve Moore, who co-founded Electric Shuffle and Flight Club. "Manchester is such an incredible city, so we feel really privileged to be opening a second bar there. We can’t wait to start welcoming the people of Manchester."

Red Engine on the move

Red Engine currently employs more than 1,000 people globally across its venues and central operations hub.

Its concepts are gaining an ever-growing global presence, as the hospitality group continues to add to its portfolio of owned and partner-owned venues across the UK, US and Australia.

Following Electric Shuffle Manchester, Red Engine will open Electric Shuffle New York, Flight Club Liverpool and Flight Club Oxford. With the addition of Flight Club Philadelphia, Flight Club Washington and Flight Club Melbourne being opened by Red Engine’s international partners, the global Flight Club and Electric Shuffle venue portfolio will increase to 33 by the end of 2024.
