Le Bab team to open first pub in Camden

The Dark Horse will open in the Camden Stable block in January.

The team behind restaurant brands Le Bab and Kebab Queen is set to launch its debut pub, in partnership with the operators of music venue Tape.

Launching in what was formerly The Farrier, The Dark Horse will open in the Camden Stable block on Monday 6 January, with the operators calling it a "no-nonsense, music listening pub".

Food at the new pub will be overseen by Stephen Tozer and Ed Brunet of Le Bab and Kebab Queen, featuring dishes such as a lamb shank hot pot, various fresh pies, bangers and mash, prawn cocktail and rarebit crumpets.

The menu has been based on the founders' childhood memories of eating at pubs in Lancashire and Oxfordshire.

Drawing on Tape’s connection with the record industry, the pub will celebrate Camden’s rich music heritage with live music performances and music industry events weekly.
