Local & Wild to launch first pub business

Richard and Oliver Gladwin will launch The Pig’s Ear in Chelsea.

The brothers behind the Local & Wild restaurant group are preparing to open their first pub.

Richard and Oliver Gladwin will launch The Pig’s Ear in one of the oldest taverns in Chelsea, London.

The new project will join the Gladwin portfolio of neighbourhood restaurants The Shed in Notting Hill, Rabbit on Kings Road, Sussex in Soho and The Black Lamb in Wimbledon.

Celebrating British seasonal produce and creative cooking, the menu will be overseen by Oliver (above right), while Richard (above left) will lead front-of-house.

The Local &Wild Restaurant Group by the Gladwin Brothers was launched in 2012. Their cooking is complemented with English wines from the family’s own vineyard in Nutbourne, West Sussex.
