Tailors in Cheltenham wins Horseracing Pub of the Year

Tailors is an independent pub located in the heart of Cheltenham.

A pub in Cheltenham has picked up the title of Horseracing Pub of the Year, after being voted the best pub to watch the sport in across the UK.

Tailors, an independent pub located in the heart of Cheltenham, was awarded the accolade by Racing TV/Sky Business.

The prize that came with the accolade incldued branding for Cheltenham Festival week; a £1,000 bar tab for one day of the Festival; a regular slot on The Friday Club (Racing TV's live Friday evening show); and a visit from the cameras for a feature to be shown on Racing TV.

"Everyone at Tailors is over the moon to win this incredible prize – and thank you to Racing TV and Sky Business for running the competition," says Rachael Bird, the pub’s owner. "We pride ourselves for being a true racing pub – Racing TV is on the 18 screens throughout the day.

"Our customers are a very knowledgeable racing crowd and when they back a winner the roof almost lifts off! We look forward to welcoming everyone to Tailors throughout the year."
