King Pins bowling to open second site

King Pins will open its second site and first city centre venue in 2024.

Bowling, bar and restaurant brand King Pins will open its second site and first city centre venue next year.

King Pins: Manchester Arndale will be the brand’s second Greater Manchester location, sitting alongside its venue in Trafford Palazzo, which opened in the summer.

For the new venue, King Pins has signed a deal to occupy a currently vacant 30,000 sq ft unit previously home to a Sports Direct store.

Describing itself as ‘The Crown Jewels of Bowling’, King Pins features a range of activities including curling, shuffleboard, batting cages, karaoke, an arcade, and state-of-the-art 10-pin bowling, alongside the brand’s food and drink offering.

"We couldn’t be happier to be opening our second site at Manchester’s Arndale Centre," says James Travis, brand manager for King Pins. "Taking our state-of-the-art bowling concept to its first city centre location is hugely exciting, and where better to do it? The Arndale is one of the UK’s leading shopping destinations and already has an impressive entertainment offering alongside some of the best retailers on the high street.

"With lanes, games, food, drinks and more, King Pins offers a place for the whole family to have some king-sized fun, as well as the perfect night-time venue for friends to get together and try something a little different. We can’t wait to get going, and to bring the Crown Jewels of bowling to Manchester City Centre."
