Cubitt House to collaborate with Cinnamon Kitchen

The Barley Mow and Cinnamon Kitchen are partnering for a one-off curry night special.

The Barley Mow, a Mayfair pub operated by the Cubitt House group, is partnering with renowned pan-Indian restaurant brand Cinnamon Kitchen for a one-off curry night special.

Ben Tish, chef director of Cubitt House (right), and The Barley Mow head chef Chris Fordham-Smith (inside right) will welcome Vivek Singh (inside left) and his Cinnamon Kitchen team to the new Mayfair pub to co-host a special curry feast collaboration on Monday 20 February.

The front-of-house will be overseen by Barley Mow general manager George Dean (left), previously of Blue Boar Pub, the National Pub & Bar Awards 2022 London Pub of the Year. 

Priced at £60 a head, the menu will feature favoured Cinnamon Kitchen dishes and influences, alongside The Barley Mow’s own British style. A wine pairing will also be available for an extra £40..

The evening will kick off with a special drink of gin with blood orange and cinnamon tonic. Sharing starters include crispy fried whitebait with green chilli and coriander mayonnaise; Cinnamon Club scotch egg; and lamb seekh kebab sausage roll with spiced tomato pickle.

Main course options are old Delhi-style butter chicken on the bone or cardamom spiced kedgeree with soft boiled egg, spring onions and coriander. Sides will feature masala mash, steamed green beans with coconut crumble, and grilled Indian breads. To finish, dessert will be spiced sticky toffee and ginger pudding.
