Restaurant group Tapas Brindisa launches new bar concept

A brand new bar concept will launch on Beak Street in London’s Carnaby.

The team behind the Spanish restaurant group Tapas Brindisa is to open a brand new bar concept this month, launching a site on Beak Street in London's Carnaby.

Joining its five-strong restaurant portfolio, Bar Kroketa will offer changing menu of croquetas, accompanied by bar snacks and small plates, alongside sherry, vermut and Spanish wines.

The initial selection of kroketas will include sobrasada and goat’s curd with honey; girolle and pine with shaved idiazabal;  jamón with lardo and migas; blue cheese with crushed walnut; prawn and leek with prawn head alioli; and salt cod with txakoli verjus alioli.

Cocktails will also be available, including the Kalimotxo Sour, a modern take on an old school Basque tipple of red wine and coke; Krok Spritz, made with fino sherry, fig liqueur and cava; and the cider-based Basque & Stormy.
