Parlour bar to open in Warrington

The bar and eatery will open its doors in Warrington’s Time Square on 7 October.

Independent bar and eatery Parlour will open its doors in Warrington's Time Square on 7 October.

The concept is being launched by former hospitality consultant James Wrigley (left) and his business partner Tom Buckley (right). It will take its inspiration from the New York bar scene, specialising in craft beers, cocktails, pizzas and small plates.

Parlour will be joining other hospitality venues as part of the £142m Time Square development in Warrington, which was launched in 2019. Alongside its leisure and restaurant offerings is Warrington Market, a continental European-style market hall.

“It’s not long now until we open our doors and welcome the Warrington community to Parlour," says Wrigley. "We think it will perfectly complement everything that’s going on at Time Square, adding another layer of buzz to an already thriving destination. We’ve been working hard to ensure that we’ve got the food and drink right - it’s a real labour of love and we can’t wait for guests to come and enjoy it.”

The venue has 100 covers inside and outside seating is due to launch in spring 2023.

Collaborating with local independent record store Lizard Inc Records and Altrincham’s Stutter and Twitch, Parlour also aims to source the best regional bands and DJs to perform at the site.
