Tom Kerridge launches £15 lunches
Kerridge has launched a £15 set lunch menu at his Michelin-starred pub, The Coach in Marlow.
Tom Kerridge, one of England's most famous pub landlords and chefs, has launched a £15 set lunch menu at his Michelin-starred pub, The Coach in Marlow.
The menu, which Kerridge describes as "too good to be true", will also be available at Kerridge’s Bar & Grill in London at The Corinthia and the Bull & Bear in Manchester from 5 September.
Despite making no money for the renowned chef, the £15 lunch menu is designed to get the excitement back into pubs and restaurants without consumers feeling anxious about spending too much.
"You can’t turn on the TV, look at social media or read a newspaper without the grim news of the cost-of-living crisis," says Kerridge. "So, we are very excited to launch a set lunch £15 menu. A taste of the good times at a fraction of the price."
The same menu will run concurrently in all sites, headed up by Nick Beardshaw, Sarah Hayward and Connor Black. The dishes will champion classic pub favourites, such cottage pie, lasagne and caramelized onion sausage with mash, followed by desserts of spotted dick, jam roly poly and crumble and custard.
