Red Lion Holdings, the pub investment group led by Jason Myers and David Ramsey, has opened the fourth site within its Grosvenor Pubs business.
The Hare & Hounds in Newbury is a 17th century Georgian building, which now boasts a traditional pub, dining room and 30-bed coaching inn, following a lengthy restoration period.
The coaching inn's new accommodation comprises 30 bedrooms named after the equestrian world and historic dignitaries.
Established in 2021 to bring a collection of pub and inn groups together, Red Lion Holdings currently owns Red Mist Leisure and Grosvenor Pubs, with The Hare & Hounds joining the latter.
As the fourth property owned and managed by Myers and Ramsey, The Hare & Hounds joins Wild Thyme and Honey & The Crown at Ampney Brook, Cirencester; The Cricketers on the Green, Pirbright; and The Kings Arms, Egham.
The Hare & Hounds follows the recent launch of Wild Thyme & Honey, which opened in December 2021 in Ampney Crucis in the Cotswolds.
