Whitbread is the latest hospitality operator to partner plant-based brand GARDEN GOURMET®

The hotel, pub and restaurant operator has launched new GARDEN GOURMET meat-free dishes across its estate, which serve over five million customers a month, with the brand highlighted on menus including Premier Inn and pub and restaurant brands Beefeater and Brewers Fayre.

The new GARDEN GOURMET Sensational Burger and GARDEN GOURMET Cumberland Sausage, which now feature on Whitbread menus, are both 100% plant-based and have been certified vegan by the European Vegetarian Union.

The dishes appeal not only to Whitbread’s vegan customers but to the UK’s ever-growing number of flexitarians, and encourage customers to make healthy*, more sustainable** choices when dining out.

Garden Gourmet is already a trusted plant-based protein brand to many out of home operators including Young’s pubs and Subway UK.

Plant-based ingredients are carefully selected by GARDEN GOURMET to create the look, taste, texture and cooking properties of meat without compromise on the dining out experience. The range also includes products such as mince, meat-style balls, and fillet pieces which are all versatile enough to be used in a selection of dishes and across a variety of cuisines.
