Two new Cookhouse + Pubs for Whitbread

Whitbread has announced the opening of two new Cookhouse + Pub sites this month, bringing the branded portfolio to 21. 

The openings will take place at Sandown Cliffs on the Isle of Wight and the Three Piers in Blackpool, both of which are seafront locations.

The pubs will be situated within Whitbread's Premier Inn hotels, but with separate entrances. The 164-cover Sandown and 215-cover Blackpool sites include a bar area, with a range of flexible seating and solo-dining booths, feature tables and semi-private dining areas.

Cookhouse + Pub is aiming to 'reinvent the pub dining experience' through food and service of an informal, all-day casual restaurant, with the relaxed vibe and affordability of a pub.

Value for money is core to the concept, with Cookhouse + Pub serving cooked unlimited breakfast at £8.99, a three-course kids’ meal at £4.99 and a weekday lunch deal of two main courses for £8.99.
