Pub chef joins Philly Five

Jonny Pons has teamed up with cream cheese brand Philadelphia as part of a new campaign.

Jonny Pons, head chef at The Kingham Plough in Chipping Norton, has teamed up with cream cheese brand Philadelphia as part of a new campaign to inspire chefs across the hospitality sector. 

As part of the 'Philly Five' group of chefs, Pons has contributed to a bank of recipes to help chefs 'do more with less'. The nationwide 'You Don't Know Philly' campaign aims to demonste that there’s more to the product than bagels and cheesecake.

The Kingham Plough chef has worked his way up through the kitchen ranks, training under David Kelman along the way. A big believer in putting the time and effort into his work, his food is characterised by great-tasting, quality ingredients.

Launching this month, the campign will introduce new chef insight around Philadelphia’s taste and workability alongside a bank of new, sector-specific recipe inspiration.

The campaign will be aided by a team of chef ambassadors known as the Philly Five. Chefs can visit philadelphiaprofessional.co.uk to download their sector-specific recipe book and access a host of inspiration.
