Simmons set to open in Manchester

Simmons will take over the former Botanist site in the centre of Manchester.

The city of Manchester will soon be home to the 'biggest happy hour' in the area, as the bar brand Simmons gets ready to open in Deansgate.

Simmons' latest venue is taking over the former Botanist site in the centre of the city, with the bar brand saying it's the biggest opening it has done so far.

Opening on 24 October, the venue is launching with a series of free bar parties. The site will feature DJs, live music, two bookable karaoke rooms, free entry every night of the week and trademark happy hours.

"Manchester leads the way when it comes to nightlife, and we're excited to be able to be a part of it," says owner Nick Campbell. " We want to bring value and top-quality partying back to Deansgate and challenge outdated beliefs that the two can’t coexist.

"We are keen to launch as we mean to go on, with a series of high-energy parties, including our famous free bar, which is first come, first served."

Simmons Bars is a vibrant and quirky chain of cocktail bars spread across London, known for its eclectic decor and signature affordable drinks deals.
