Reddington Pub Company unveils two venue revamps

Reddington Pub Company is relaunching two venues in Nottingham this bank holiday weekend: The Anchor pub and Tom Browns restaurant.
With a combined history spanning over a century, The Anchor and Tom Browns have long been Gunthorpe staples. Nestled along the banks of the River Trent, The Anchor is a family-friendly destination that offers pub classics with a modern twist, also housing its own café and courtyard.
Just next door, the adult-only Tom Browns restaurant delivers a high-end dining experience alongside live music and entertainment.

The Anchor
Reborn after 16 years of dormancy, The Anchor's new menu has been designed by chef Andy Goodbourn. Highlights include Nottinghamshire pork belly with wild garlic and chicken cream, and Cromer Crab and avocado salad with beef dripping croutons.
While the pub itself houses four en-suite guest rooms, the in-house café serves coffee and brunch to enjoy on-site or takeaway, while The Anchor Courtyard is an entertaining space that can be booked for birthdays, weddings or corporate events. It even has its very own 18-seater model train, The Anchor Express – a free attraction that runs every hour to keep children entertained.
Tom Browns
Tom Browns has been transformed into a high-end dining destination that also offers entertainment and live music. Award-winning head chef Jack Pearce has curated a fresh steak and seafood menu, featuring dishes like 21oz dry-aged Côte De Boeuf and Sole Meunière served in a brown butter and caper sauce.
The restaurant has lined up a series of live performances throughout May, including performances from Urban Intro Band and DJ Jez Prince this weekend. Tom Browns will also host disco, motown and soul singer Mollie Laine for a bottomless brunch on 26 July.
Sean Reddington, founder of Reddington Pub Company, comments: "The reopening of The Anchor and Tom Browns isn’t just about opening doors, but bringing a new level of culinary excellence to Gunthorpe and creating unforgettable experiences for both locals and visitors from across the country."
