Stonegate creates The People's Pub managed concept
Stonegate Group has brought together 220 venues to create The People’s Pub.

Stonegate Group has brought together 220 venues to create a new brand within its managed estate.
Called The People’s Pub, Stonegate says the group sub-brand is about "celebrating the individuality of each pub while delivering consistency in quality, value and experience".
The brand, which began its rollout on 15 April, will focus on beer, live sport, food and entertainment, with a renewed emphasis on championing local character and community connections.
"Each of these pubs is unique, shaped by the brilliant general managers who run them and the locals who bring them to life," says David McDowall, CEO at Stonegate Group. "These are places where strangers become regulars, everyone feels welcome, and where great entertainment, sport and food and drink are at the heart of the experience."
While each of the 220 pubs within The People’s Pub will keep its own name, they will feature the same food and drink offer.
What's on the menu?
The People's Pub food and drink menu features improvements to much-loved classics and, according to the pubco, "bold new additions" across key categories. Items include a new premium burger, chicken tikka masala and a billionaire’s chocolate fudge cake.
Its product development has seen the introduction of dishes like The Big Don Doner Kebab Burger, Loaded Hash Browns, Hot Honey Buffalo Brie Toastie, the Shroom & Blue Jacket, and indulgent Loaded Churros.
On the drinks front, The People’s Pub aims to tap into trending flavours with serves like the Party Paloma, made with tequila and raspberry liqueur; and the Mini Beer Shot, a caramel-vanilla twist on the Baby Guinness served in a mini beer tankard (pictured).
