Sally Abé joins Public House Group's The Bull
Sally Abé is set to join The Bull at Charlbury as its new head of food.

Following her departure from The Pem at Conrad London St. James, chef Sally Abé is set to join The Bull at Charlbury as its new head of food.
The move to the Public House Group site happens just after Abé's winning performance on 2025's Great British Menu, where she won the banquet starter course.
Her career has seen her at the helm of some of London’s most celebrated kitchens, including The Ledbury, Elystan Street and the Michelin-starred Harwood Arms. Her new role at The Bull will see Abé return to the pub kitchen, where she will to continue to position the Cotswolds site as a venue known for modern British pub dining.
"I am absolutely thrilled to be joining The Bull in Charlbury," says Abé. "It feels like a homecoming for me, returning to my roots and getting to cook proper British pub grub once again. I can’t wait to work with all the amazing produce from the farm. I’m so excited to get back to these incredible British ingredients and just get cracking."

At The Bull, Abé will not only lead the kitchen but also continue to build on the pub’s ‘farm-to-fork’ ethos. She will work closely with the team at the Public House Produce farm at Bruern Farms, ensuring that seasonal ingredients are used in the best possible way to create the dishes.
"We are so excited to welcome Sally to The Bull," adds James Gummer, co-founder of Public House Group. "She is one of the country’s most talented chefs and her love for British produce and great pub food perfectly aligns with ours. We cannot wait to see her creativity in action."
Abé will officially take up her new role in April 2025.
