Admiral Taverns has launched a new recruitment portal for pub operators.
Individuals considering taking on a pub could have an easier application journey thanks to a new portal designed by Admiral Taverns.
The operator, which has over 1,420 pubs across the UK, has launched a brand-new applicant portal designed for individuals looking to take on a venue within the on-trade.
Designed specifically for new applicants as they embark on the journey of taking on a pub, the portal simplifies the recruitment process, offering a tailored experience with the ability to search for a pub based on their specific preferences, from geography and financial contribution, to pub style.
Applicants will be able to submit an online application form as well as their business plans and monitor the status of their application in real-time. The portal also provides resources detailing the support available from Admiral, along with guidance on the steps required to successfully run their own pub.
Right person, right pub
"We’ve worked hard to ensure the process is as simple as possible, while also providing those interested in running their own pub with personalised information, ensuring that we match the right person to the right pub," says Ceri Radford, head of recruitment and operations support at Admiral. "We always want great people running our pubs, but most importantly, we want to make sure individuals run the right pub for that person."
The platform's launch coincides with one of the busiest times of the year for recruitment, as many individuals actively seek new opportunities in the month of January.
Research shows that 75% of employees explore new career options during January, with activity on company profiles on Glassdoor rising by an average of 55%. Over the past two years, Admiral Taverns has seen a 50% increase in applicants during January.
