Pubs celebrate AA award wins
Three pubs picked up titles at the AA Hospitality Awards 2024.
A handful of pubs were celebrating this week having picked up some accolades at the AA Hospitality Awards 2024.
The Greyhound in Buckinghamshire, The Cartford Inn in Lancashire and The Three Horseshoes in Essex flew the flag for the pub and bar industry at an awards ceremony dominated by high-end restaurants and hotels.
The Greyhound perhaps celebrated the most, having picked up the England Restaurant of the Year title, while The Cartford Inn raised a glass to winning the Inn of the Year and The Three Horseshoes picked up three rosettes.
"When we opened in 2019 – and were closed again by coronavirus shortly afterwards – the possibility of receiving one of the most esteemed awards a restaurant in the UK can get felt so far away," says Daniel Crump, co-proprietor at The Greyhound. "This means so much to us and the team and we’re so honoured to receive this recognition from the AA.
"We are so proud of how hard our Greyhound family works day in, day out, front-of-house and in the kitchen, to make sure that our guests have the best possible experience from the moment they walk in the door, and it’s phenomenal to see their skills, passion and talent recognised at a national level."
