Flight Club opens third Aussie venue

Flight Club Sydney becomes the third Flight Club to open in Australia.

The UK-born bar brand known for its social darts and fairground-inspired décor has opened the doors to its latest international venue.

Flight Club Sydney becomes the third Flight Club to open in Australia, where venues are owned and operated by partner NightOwl Entertainment.

The latest Australian venue follows the launches of Flight Club Perth and Fremantle, which opened in 2021 and 2023 respectively.

Flight Club Sydney is located close to Sydney Harbour in the heart of The Rocks, a historic quarter featuring bars and restaurants.

"We couldn’t be prouder and more excited to introduce Flight Club to Sydney in partnership with NightOwl Entertainment," says CEO Steve Moore, who co-founded Flight Club and Electric Shuffle. "Some 17,000km from London, where this beautiful journey began, we are delighted to share some Flight Club magic with the people of Sydney and look forward to bringing them many moments of unexpected, ridiculous joy."

Consistent across continents

Flight Club’s owning business Red Engine designs and fits out every venue, no matter the location, to ensure consistency worldwide.

The team is known for transforming heritage buildings. Flight Club Sydney is a former school and parish hall dating back to 1889.

The venue is comprised of a ground floor level, with 12 oches available, and a mezzanine level featuring seating overlooking all the action below.

Earlier this year, Red Engine posted sales of £67m for 2023 and recently announced that it has secured a £60m bank facility to support its global growth strategy.
