The brand-new drinks and dishes are available in 41 sites across the UK.
A UK-wide pub company has launched a refreshed menu to celebrate the arrival of spring across its estate.
Metropolitan Pub Company, part of the Greene King portfolio, has revealed the brand-new drinks and dishes available in 41 sites across the UK.
The refreshed menu is an evolution of British pub classics and will feature modern British food made using a selection of seasonal produce.
Its gastropubs in London, Manchester, Cambridge, Poole, Bath and Surrey will all roll out the new items, which feature starters of smoked salmon with avocado, mango and salted giant corn served with a salted cracker; chicken liver profiteroles with morello cherry compote; and a tomato and mozzarella gnocchi with basil pesto.
The main courses include a heritage beetroot, Granny Smith and driftwood goats’ cheese salad; battered fish and chips served with marrow fat mushy peas, curry sauce and tartare sauce; and a double rib and flank burger served in a potato bun with burger sauce and American cheese.
