A leading pub business in the Channel Islands and south west of England has brought in some new talent to lead its people.

Liberation Group has announced the appointment of Cat Moseley (pictured) as people director, following the news that Julia Rosamond will be retiring on 1 March 2024.

Moseley joins Liberation Group from Motorpoint, where she held the position of chief people officer for six years. She also has had an extensive career working for several leading hospitality groups including Casual Dining Group (now Big Table), Spirit Pub Company and Punch Taverns.

"We look forward to welcoming Cat in February," says Jonathan Lawson, CEO of Liberation Group. "This is an exciting time for Liberation Group and, with people at the heart of everything we do, Cat’s expertise, knowledge and strong commercial background will be instrumental in the ongoing success of our business and teams.

"I would like to also thank Julia for her support, guidance and for the tremendous impact she has made upon the culture of our business, specifically her approach towards our people, their engagement, recruitment, and development. Julia has had a fantastic career and we wish her all the best in her well-deserved retirement."
