BrewDog bars to charge like it's 1999

BrewDog is rolling back drink prices to what they would have cost over 20 years ago.

As pubs and bars prepare for a busy festive season, BrewDog has announced that its bars will be partying like it’s 1999 on New Year's Eve, rolling back drink prices to what they would have cost over 20 years ago.

Upon the purchase of a BrewDog New Year’s ticket at most of its venues nationwide, guests will then get access to reductions on many of BrewDog’s drinks to enjoy all night from 7pm.

Price drops include a pint of Lost Lager at a cost of £1.95, Wingman at £2.25 a pint, as well as house wines available at £2.95 and Wonderland cocktails from £3.95.

"New Year’s Eve is always a fun time of year, and while it’s always nice to look ahead to the future, sometimes going back in time has it’s perks too," says James Watt, co-founder and captain of BrewDog. "With reductions of well over 50% on some of our best beers, wines and prosecco – we hope we can give everyone a New Year’s celebration to remember."

Its bars will also be serving up hot bacon-butties when the clock hits midnight.
