Incipio's Libertine to host rugby stars

A London venue will welcome stars from podcast The Good, The Bad and The Rugby.

As pubs and bars prepare for the Rugby World Cup starting in September, a London venue has announced it will host an exclusive dinner with stars from podcast The Good, The Bad and The Rugby.

The podcast, hosted by England veterans James Haskell and Mike Tindall, and broadcaster Alex Payne, will lead an evening at Incipio Group's The Libertine in the City of London, which sits in the vaults beneath The Royal Exchange.

From 6pm, guests are invited to enjoy a pint in The Libertine’s bar, offering an opportunity to chat to the hosts before a debrief on the upcoming tournament, where they will share their predictions for the tournament.

A sit-down three-course dinner will then be served, before Haskell, Tindall and Payne return to the spotlight for a Q&A with guests.

"We’re thrilled to be celebrating with James Haskell, Mike Tindall and Alex Payne, three very recognisable voices that listeners have come to know and love," says Connal Donovan, general manager of The Libertine. "Combining the anticipation for the Rugby World Cup 2023 with the love of the game, alongside an unforgettable dinner, it’s sure to be a wonderful evening at The Libertine."

Priced at £125 a head, the event promises to be a draw for rugby fanatics, podcast fans and sports enthusiasts.
