Anticipation builds for National Pub & Bar Awards

Operators across the UK on-trade are preparing for the final results of the 2023 National Pub & Bar Awards, with the prestigious occasion just around the corner.

The annual event named a total of 94 pubs and bars (which can be found below) as the best in their respective counties ahead of the Easter weekend, aiming to highlight the positive and inspiring work being carried out across the UK’s hospitality industry.

At the grand final awards ceremony, which takes place in London on 28 June, the County Winners will discover which pubs will be taking home a Regional title, as well as which site is to be named the UK’s best, leaving with the overall National Pub & Bar of the Year accolade. 

Other awards up for grabs are the Pub Brand of the Year, Bar Brand of the Year, Pub Chef of the Year and Sustainable Pub & Bar of the Year. The shortlisted brands include Fuller's, Hive Pubs, BrewDog and NQ64. 

"It's not long to go now," says Tristan O'Hana, editor of Pub & Bar, which runs the event. "We can't wait to welcome nearly 100 business from across the country to London to celebrate not just this year's winners, but the industry as a whole."
