Greene King receives franchise accreditation
Greene King Pub Partners has received accreditation from the British Franchise Association.
Greene King Pub Partners, the leased, tenanted and franchise business unit of Greene King, has received accreditation from the British Franchise Association (BFA), becoming a member of the franchising association in the process.
The pub company launched its Hive Pubs franchise concept in 2021 and has since grown it to over 30 pubs and counting.
An independent, self-regulatory body, the BFA plays a role in maintaining the integrity and credibility of the franchising sector, alongside offering guidance, support and accreditation to businesses who provide franchises.
Hive Pubs franchisees and other Greene King Pub Partners franchisees will receive benefits from the accreditation and membership of the BFA, including access to the BFA’s community of franchisees, as well as expertise and resources provided by the BFA itself.
"We are immensely proud to receive accreditation from the British Franchise Association," says Dan Robinson, managing director of Greene King Pub Partners. "This accreditation underlines our commitment to work with our Hive Pubs and franchise partners to grow successful pub businesses together.
"While we remain a leased and tenanted pub business at our core, this is an exciting development as we continue to grow Hive Pubs and our franchise offer."
A Hive Pub franchise agreement offers a ready-to-trade pub for a £5,000 ingoing cost. Franchisees can expect a minimum guaranteed income of £20,000 and they also get a percentage of food and drink sales. They also get a share of the profits in their pub and can earn a bonus as well.
