Sheldon Inns takes on refurbished Birmingham site

The Prince of Wales in Moseley has received an impressive £400,000 refurbishment.

The Prince of Wales in Moseley, Birmingham, has reopened its doors after an impressive £400,000 refurbishment.

The £400,000 investment from owners Greene King Pub Partners has been used to refurbish the pub inside and out.

The pub will now be run by multiple operator Sheldon Inns Ltd, which has a 24-strong estate across the West Midlands, led by Martin Cartwright. 

"We are delighted to be taking on The Prince of Wales," he says. "The refurbishment has brought the pub back to its former glory, while retaining its character and charm. We look forward to welcoming customers old and new to this fantastic pub."

What's new?

Inside, new fixtures and fittings have been installed in the pub, including seating and lighting, which are in keeping with the pub's traditional look and feel.

Outside, the pub’s garden has also been revamped to include firepits and an outside bar. Externally, a large mural on the wall of the pub has also been repainted.

The Prince of Wales is a wet-led, traditional pub known for its selection of real ales and premium beers.
