"I’m thrilled to be coming on board at Mama Shelter London Shoreditch and to be able to work with the fantastic team here to create new concepts," says Mansueto. "East London has such a vibrant and eclectic mixology history and Mama is a true home away from home, so it will be great to make a big impact on our bar offering, particularly over the summer when the vibey venue really comes alive."
As well as the Garden Bar, the hotel features Ateliers for events and bookable karaoke rooms.
"We have done some extensive work on our food offering with the arrival of Mattia, our food and beverage director, and James, our executive chef, last summer," says general manager Robert Alam. "As we continue to enhance the menu, drinks will be a key focus to compliment this and cement Mama as a destination venue as well as a local haunt for the neighbours."
