Canary Wharf takes Cocktail Club to 17 sites

The Cocktail Club has launched its 17th site in London’s Canary Wharf.

The Cocktail Club, formerly known as London Cocktail Club, has launched its 17th site in London's Canary Wharf.

Located at 9 Cabot Square, it will be the 11th London venue for the Nightcap PLC-owned business.

Following a rapid period of growth after being acquired by Nightcap at the beginning of 2021, The Cocktail Club is continuing to work on regional expansion.

The Canary Wharf site has a capacity of 100 and a large terrace. The bar will host the ‘World’s Hottest Happy Hour’ seven days a week, offering two-for-one deals on every drink from 4pm-7pm. Guests are able to book cocktail masterclasses alongside private room and venue hire, as well as an ‘outrageous 00’s Bottomless Brunch’, which will run weekly.

The concept was initially conceived by John James ‘JJ’ Goodman and James Hopkins. After the pair won the television competition ‘The Restaurant’ in 2009, they founded their first site on Goodge Street. A further eight sites were opened in London across the following eight years, with their first site outside of the capital opening in Bristol in 2018.

“We are beyond excited to have launched our latest site in Canary Wharf," says Goodman. "It feels great to bring our mantra, ‘welcome to the party’, to the heart of the financial district. At The Cocktail Club, we’re all about giving our guests a good time. We’re a place where people can really let their hair down. With our swinging lights, throwing ice and bartenders putting on a theatrical show, there’s always something going on. We hope to see everybody join us at our Canary Wharf site soon!”
