Stonegate launches Future Leaders programme
The Stonegate Group has launched a new development programme, called Future Leaders, designed to inform and inspire a new generation of managers within its organisation.
The initiative sees delegates participate in a six-session programme including videos, group discussions, role play, case studies, team activities and personal reflection reviews, lasting 10 months in total. Each workshop has been created to challenge and enhance leadership thinking, with several of the company's key figures steering sessions – including five of Stonegate's board members.
The first cohort has 32 delegates, spit between head office and operations roles. Each participant will be able to network with members of the operations board, sharing their learnings with fellow trainees after each session.
Future Leaders has been designed with three main objectives in mind: to provide an internally delivered programme that enables delegates to interact with the operations board whilst building their personal brand; to retain and promote the leadership team from within the group; and to continuously excel the performance of high potential individuals while challenging their thinking process.
Tim Painter, HR director of Stonegate Group, comments: "I am delighted to see the start of this great project. Watching the Future Leaders programme be brought to life has been fantastic. We are on a mission to raise the bar on the British pub, by being the best for our people as they sit at the heart of our business. Our Future Leaders programme equips our rising stars with the tools and behaviours that they need to have a long and successful career with us."
