The Umbrella Project is taking its east London sites on an international road trip, filled with 12 monthly events in some of the world’s best bars.

‘The Umbrella Project Presents’ series will offer an exclusive menu showcasing a selection of the greatest and latest cocktails from The Sun Tavern and Discount Suit Company’s teams in bars across the UK, Europe and US.

Following on from its January takeover at Electric House in London and Bristol’s Filthy XIII in February, the team from The Sun Tavern and Discount Suit Company will be visiting everywhere from Liverpool and Dublin, to Paris and Barcelona.

In March, The Umbrella Project will be taking the series across the pond to Seattle, landing in the middle of Seattle Cocktail Week at Stampede Cocktail Club. Come April, the team will head up to Liverpool to take over the bar at Simon Thompson’s Present Company, before heading across to Dublin in May to the Teeling Whiskey Distillery for a special collaboration with the Teeling brothers.

They’ll then work with Lulu White in Paris in June, before heading to Public in Sheffield in July, Two Schmucks in Barcelona in August, Iain McPherson’s Nauticus Bar in Edinburgh in September and then Cain & Grain in Manchester in October.

As the series draws to a close, in November The Umbrella Project will be heading over to Dave Mulligan’s Bar 1661 in Dublin, before returning to The Sun Tavern in December.
