Stonegate employee donates TalkSPORT quiz winnings
Harry Bailey, head of commercial planning at Stonegate, donated his £1,000 cash prize to the group’s charity partner, the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
The UK's largest pub and bar operator is celebrating a member of staff who bagged the £1,000 win in the live TalkSPORT pub quiz.
Stonegate Group's Harry Bailey battled it out against fellow football enthusiasts and scooped himself the cash prize, which he has since donated to the group's charity partner, the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association.
TalkSPORT, the world's biggest sports radio station, broadcasts its renowned weekly sports quiz every Sunday night, giving football fans a chance to flaunt their knowledge to win exclusive prizes, free drinks and perks.
The TalkSPORT Quiz
Bailey outshone his competitors and came out on top. After battling it out in rounds of trivia, he watched the TalkSPORT Breakfast Show live before meeting his idol, football legend Alan Brazil, who handed him the prize.
Bailey's decision to donate his winning to Stonegate's charity partner follows the company's recent milestone of raising £500,000 for both the MND Association and MND Scotland.
Bailey says of his achievement: "I am utterly surprised by my win in the TalkSPORT pub quiz and I am thankful that I can support such a worthy cause with my winnings. Stonegate Group show amazing support to the MND Association and I am proud to be able to represent the company and add my prize to the pot."
