Classic Cocktail Competition reveals 2024 finalists
Pubs and bars have been shortlisted for the Classic Cocktail Competition.
Some of the finest bar brands from across the country have made it through to the final of the 2024 Classic Cocktail Competition.
Returning for its second year, the Classic Cocktail Competition challenges bartenders to make six different classic cocktails each, all served in their own signature style during strictly timed heats.
A total of 15 respected hospitality businesses will be represented at the final on 14 October in London, including teams from Nightcap, The Alchemist, Arc Inspirations and Inception Group. The full list of finalists can be seen below.
At the final, these talented mixologists will be battling it out to make the Highball of the Year, Long Island Iced Tea of the Year, Negroni of the Year, Old Fashioned of the Year, Pornstar Martini of the Year, and Margarita of the Year.
For 2024, the event is moving to Dirty Martini in St Paul’s, where bartenders will go head-to-head in a bid to win the £1,000 prize, as well as a spot in a worldwide cocktail competition final with sponsor Les verges Boiron, which takes place in Madrid in March 2025.
The winners will be announced at a private reception held immediately after the daytime competition.
