Young's opens pub with rooms in Farnham

Young’s Pubs has opened The Teller’s Arms in Farnham.

Formerly a bank dating back to the 1930s, The Teller’s Arms has opened its doors in Farnham, Surrey.

It's the latest pub with rooms opened by Young's Pubs, featuring nine boutique bedrooms, all-day dining and a rooftop terrace.

The Teller’s Arms marks the second Young’s pub with rooms to run on green energy. Equipped with its own substation, 100% of electricity is generated sustainably to power all aspects of the pub, from heating and hot water to its kitchen operation.

What's on the menu

The menu has been curated by head chef Ryan Patterson, with winter dish highlights including buttermilk-fried pheasant with plum chutney; grilled poussin with a celeriac puree and Madeira gravy; roasted Jerusalem artichoke, squash and truffle orzo; and dry-aged 300g rib-eye steak.

Each bedroom blends the original features of the neo-classical bank with modern flourishes, while also incorporating design elements inspired by the area, from floral furnishings as a nod to the wheat fields, to finishing touches from local suppliers including treat jars and crockery.
