Liberation to launch Butcombe Boutique Inns

Butcombe Boutique Inns, part of the Liberation Group, will launch at the end of May.

As the appetite for pubs with rooms continues to increase, one operator has created an entirely new division to capitalise on this part of the market.

Butcombe Boutique Inns, part of the Liberation Group, will launch at the end of May, with the objective of becoming the 'leading operator of premium rooms' in the south of England.

Liberation says the new offer will provide guests with a unique, personalised, home-from-home stay in some of the most desirable locations in the UK, launching with National Pub & Bar Awards winner The George Inn, Norton St Philip, and The Swan Inn, Rowberrow.

The offering will then be rolled out across eight Butcombe Pubs & Inns, including The Castle Inn, Lulworth, on the Jurassic Coast and the High Corner Inn in the New Forest.

Ready to roll out

The expectation from Liberation is that 25 inns will eventually be part of the Butcombe Boutique Inns brand.

"All our Butcombe Boutique Inns sites are set in some of the best locations in the south of England, where guests will know from the very start that their experience will be unique and extra special, a real home from home," says Jonathan Lawson, CEO of Liberation Group. "With a truly personalised experience, our guests will be able to get the most from their stays with us, whether it is enjoying our award-winning hospitality or embracing local attractions and activities that these unique locations bring, our Butcombe Boutique Inns sites are the perfect place to create lifelong memories with family and friends."

In the latest issue of Pub & Bar, COO Jayson Perfect explains how the very first pub with rooms that Liberation launched was in fact based on his own home.
