Spiteri family to open The Latimer pub
The Spiteri family will open The Latimer on 21 April 2026.
A powerhouse family of the London hospitality scene have announced a new pub project in west London.
The Spiteri family will open The Latimer, a new pub and neighbourhood dining destination, on Latimer Road on 21 April 2026.
Restaurateur Jon Spiteri, an original partner in both The French House and St. John, and his wife Melanie Arnold, co-founder of Rochelle Canteen, are the parents of the family outfit.
Their sons, Lorcan and Fin, the duo behind Caravel, bring experience from some of the capital’s most respected kitchens and dining rooms. Lorcan's most recent post was at The Blue Stoops in Kensington.
Their sister Molly, business development lead at Japanese restaurant brand Koya, completes the family team.

The kitchen will be led by Lorcan, while Fin will be heading up the drinks and leading the front-of-house service at The Latimer.
Snacks and starters include black pudding confit potato with homemade brown sauce and poached trout mayonnaise in little gem, while larger plates offer brown crab tagliolini with bisque and lemon and ox tail with mash and horseradish. Desserts include almond cake with custard and poached rhubarb and a white chocolate ganache with clementine and shortbread.
Alongside the main menu, a dedicated bar menu includes masala monkfish with tartare sauce, and tempura oyster mushrooms with pickles. On Sundays, the traditional roast gives way to sharing platters of meat, accompanied by a selection of seasonal vegetables.
The pub will feature upholstered and recycled furniture, reclaimed crockery and wooden floors, while artwork chosen by the family adds a personal touch throughout.
