Inception Group crowns internal cocktail comp winner
Robert Capon has won Inception Group’s annual cocktail competition.
Robert Capon, senior bartender at Cahoots Postal Office, has won Inception Group's annual cocktail competition.
Forty people from across Inception Group venues competed in the competition, before being whittled down to 26 contestants.
Eventually, four bartenders were then selected to compete head-to-head at the final.
As part of his prize, Capon (pictured) visited the Patrón Tequila Hacienda in Jalisco, Mexico, and will have his cocktail Lucky Red’s added to the Margarita Month menus at Control Room B, all Mr Fogg’s, both Cahoots and Barts.
For every Lucky Red’s cocktail sold, he will receive a portion of profits, as well as a donation to a charity of his choosing.
"Our annual competition is more than just a contest," says Lee Faulkner, head of leaning and development at Inception Group. "It’s a celebration of the extraordinary talent and relentless spirit of those that work at Inception Group. We are incredibly proud of all those that entered and are looking forward to toasting with a Lucky Red’s later this month."
Inception Group operates immersive and experiential bars across London, including the Mr Fogg’s collection, Cahoots Network and recently opened Bunga 90.
