Albert’s Schenke to reopen as Schiller’s Hall

Mission Mars is updating its Liverpool business Albert’s Schenke.

Liverpool’s Albert’s Schenke will enter a new chapter this spring, reopening as Schiller’s Hall on Wednesday 11 March.

The change follows a refresh of the space, menu and overall concept by owners Mission Mars, the business behind Albert's Schloss, Albert Hall and Rudy’s Neapolitan Pizzeria.

Located at 16 Hanover Street, the venue has traded as Albert’s Schenke since 2020. It will close its doors after service on Saturday 28 February to prepare for its transformation.

Mission Mars says the 5,000 sq ft Schiller’s Hall will be a relaxed neighbourhood bar serving continental food, "blending Alpine warmth and European soul".

Inspired by historic Bavarian beer halls, bohemian cafés and continental cities, the bar will serve comfort dishes, small plates, classic cocktails and a selection of European beers.

The refreshed menu will introduce weekend breakfasts and Sunday roasts, alongside an all-day selection of small plates, mains and lunchtime sandwiches.

To mark the reopening, guests will have the chance to win one of 20 £100 bar tabs.
