H2O Publishing partners with Hospitality Rides for 2026

Pub & Bar’s publisher is raising money for Hospitality Rides this year.

H2O Publishing, the business that produces Pub & Bar, has announced its charity partner for 2026.

The publisher, which also has leading trade titles Dine Out, Contract Catering Magazine and Quick Serve Magazine in its portfolio, will be backing industry charity Hospitality Rides this year.

Hospitality Rides brings together sector leaders from across the hospitality industry to tackle cycling challenges around the globe. While 2025's ride took the team to Taiwan (pictured), 2026 will see 30 riders take on over 400km of cycling across Cuba, raising vital funds for the Licensed Trade Charity and Only a Pavement Away.

These charities work to provide support, assistance and opportunities to vulnerable individuals within the hospitality industry, including those facing poverty, homelessness and other challenges.

As part of its support for the ride, H2O Publishing's editorial director Tristan O'Hana will be joining the challenge in Cuba come April.

"When I signed up, I didn't even own a bike," he says. "I hadn't owned or ridden a bike for around 20 years. With this crucial piece of information in mind, I hope you'll appreciate what a task I have set myself in cycling over 400km across Cuba.

"I've also joined the party fairly late, meaning lots or training and fundraising to catch up on. But I'm fully committed and ready to get going with raising vital money for the Licensed Trade Charity and Only A Pavement Away."
