Inn Collection Group secures £125m fund
Inn Collection Group has secured a nine-figure funding package from HSBC UK.
Inn Collection Group is planning to roll out a new expansion strategy across the country, after securing a nine-figure funding package from HSBC UK.
The £125m fund has been secured not long after the news that longstanding CEO Sean Donkin is to leave the business at the end of the year, with a successor still yet to be announced.
Inn Collection Group currently operates 31 sites across northern England and north Wales, including The Harrogate Inn, The Black Swan, Helmsley and The Angel Inn in Bowness. With the new funding, the business says it has plans to grow its footprint to more than 40 locations over the next five years.
"Staying true to our roots, we always aim to celebrate traditional British pub culture while providing comfort and welcoming spaces across the country," says Joe Bernhoeft, chief financial officer at The Inn Collection Group. "We are looking forward to this next stage of company growth as we continue to expand across the UK and provide sites that are warm and full of character."
After reporting turnover of £83.9m in 2024, the business is targeting double digit growth through this five-year plan. This growth will support an expansion of its workforce from 1,300 to more than 2,000 employees across a range of roles.
Most recently, Inn Collection Group took part in the 2025 Classic Cocktail Competition, where bar brand Sixes stole the show.
