As well as being able to able to drink pints of Guinness, visitors will be able to sample a range of rotating, limited-edition craft brews and seasonal specials, including non-stout varieties and low-alcohol options, with premium lager, session IPA, pale ale and porter available on site on a permanent basis.
"The Guinness Open Gate Brewery London has been years in the making, and we’re thrilled that the moment has almost arrived," says Deb Caldow, Guinness GB marketing director. "We can’t wait to welcome Londoners and visitors from around the UK and the world.
"It will be a place to celebrate heritage, embrace innovation and invite visitors to discover new flavours, experiences and stories. Good things really are coming."
More on the restaurants and bars
The two restaurants overseen by Lacey are Gilroy’s Loft and Porter’s Table.
Gilroy’s Loft is named after the mastermind behind some of the most known Guinness campaigns John Gilroy. With a horseshoe bar centrepiece, this space celebrates the best of Britain’s coast with a menu featuring line-caught fish and native oysters, served in a rooftop location with skyline views across London.
The Porter’s Table pays homage to the porters of Covent Garden who moved goods through the markets. The Porter’s Table will focus on a sharing menu.
Old Brewer's Yard, led by Franklin, offers outside seating with no booking required, and will host events and pop-ups spanning arts, music and special cultural occasions.
Guinness Open Gate Brewery London will also be home to an exclusive private dining room. Parties will be able to enjoy a hand-picked set menu showcasing signature dishes from the on-site restaurants.
