Pub companies praised at LTC Awards

Star Pubs and Barons Pub Company have been recognised at the LTC Awards.

Two pub companies are celebrating being winners at the recent LTC Awards, following the Licensed Trade Charity's annual Awards and Fundraising Dinner in London.

The LTC Excellence in Workplace Wellbeing Award (for operators over 251 sites) went to Star Pubs, while Barons Pub Company scooped the LTC Excellence in Workplace Wellbeing Award (for operators under 250 sites).

Barons took to the stage twice on the night, as the LTC Wellbeing Champion Award went Katherine Panayi, assistant manager at Barons Pub Company site The Inn at West End.

"This year has been one of both challenge and progress for our sector," says Chris Welham, CEO at LTC. "I want to congratulate all our incredible award winners, who continually drive our industry forward by investing in people and wellbeing.

"We’re incredibly grateful to all our partners, supporters, employees, volunteers and trustees for their unwavering commitment to LTC. Because of your continued support, we can continue to transform the lives of people across our industry every day."

A night of celebration

The evening was a celebration of not only the achievements of LTC, but also a recognition of the individuals and organisations that exemplify best practice in wellbeing, and who have gone above and beyond to support the leading industry charity and raise awareness of its services among their teams and the wider hospitality community throughout the year.

Elsewhere, the LTC Excellence in Workplace Wellbeing Award (for suppliers) went to Bidfood, while the LTC Fundraiser of the Year Award went to Amanda Thomson of Avani Solutions.

Winners were awarded for their commitment to wellbeing in the workplace, the development and implementation of wellbeing programmes, and their ongoing support of LTC.
