Cubitt House continues collabs with Willy's Pies

Cubitt House and Willy’s Pies will work together in October.

A pub in Chelsea will continue the partnerships programme being rolled out by Cubitt House, this time turning its attention to pies.

This October, Cubitt House, the group of eight pubs from Sam and Georgie Pearman and chef partner Ben Tish will be joined by pie expert Will Lewis of Willy’s Pies.

Tish and Lewis have joined forces to celebrate the great British classic, with a variety of fillings served with sides at The Builders Arms in Chelsea

Served on the first three Wednesdays of October, the Willy’s Pies menu will feature the very best of British produce, with each pie filled with locally-sourced meat and vegetables.

The four pies are an Ox Cheek Stroganoff; Roasted Chicken, Smoked Ham Hock & Leek; Curried Mutton; and Wild Mushroom, Spinach & Ricotta.

"We are huge fans of Willy’s Pies here at Cubitt House and cannot wait to serve his creations on the menu at The Builders Arms," says Tish. "His pies are full of both flavour and character and we’re looking forward to our guests, old and new, to try them."

History in the making

Lewis brings with him experience of working in some of the city’s leading restaurants, including Brat and St. John, before launching Willy’s Pies back in 2020 during lockdown.

With a  history dating back to the 1800s, The Builders Arms was once a meeting spot for the builders of the nearby St Luke’s church, and continues to be a go-to for locals and those further afield.
